Place your order between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EDT all seven days of the week. To ensure availability, we recommend you place your order no later than two weeks in advance of the convention.
Rates listed below include delivery and pick-up charges at the Rosen Shingle Creek. All major credit cards are accepted.
One-day rental: $54.32 (including tax)
Multi-day rentals are $33.02 (including tax) per day, with a required minimum of two days.
Two-day rental: $31.95 (including tax), with a required minimum of two days.
Each day thereafter is an additional $10.65 (including tax). For example, a three-day rental is $42.60; a four-day rental is $53.25.
NMA permits and encourages the use of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, and blogging at the conference as a way to summarize, highlight, excerpt, review, critique, and promote the presented materials, syllabus materials, or the conference in general, provided that
- copyright law is observed;
- verbatim information is limited to a few quotes; and
- the author or speaker is referenced and cited appropriately.
Out of respect for the other participants, we ask that noise-making electronic devices be silenced, though they need not be turned off. We understand that they may be used to follow along in the syllabus, tweet, or take notes in accordance with the above stated social media policy.

Visit NMA Central – the Association’s convention site headquarters – located in the Exhibit Hall (Booth 211). NMA staff will be available to provide information about programs, activities, membership, the Journal of the National Medical Association and much more.
Limited complimentary wireless internet service is offered in various public areas.
A concierge desk will be located near the registration area and is there to answer most conference related questions. The meeting room changed – what is the new room? How do I find the exhibit hall? Where the Opening and Awards Ceremony being held? Are there places to eat inside the Center? How do I purchase tickets for the President’s Ball? The desk will be manned between the hours of 8:00 am – noon and 1:00 – 4:30 pm.
The NMA Convention is a professional development event and due to safety liability issues, children under age 18 are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall during installation, exhibit hours and dismantle. (This includes children in strollers).
Meeting rooms will be kept cool. Dressing in layers is recommended since the temperature in meeting rooms can vary – from comfortable to chilly. As a result, you might want to dress in layers or bring a shawl/sweater.
If you are an author, current NMA member and a registered conference attendee, we invite you to join us in Orlando. You bring the books, we provide the space for free in NMA Central which is located in a prominent location in the Exhibit Hall.
